By using meticulous research and paying close attention to customer requirements it has established a unique one stop booking shop. Heavy internet focus, well targeted direct mail campaigns and quality print work together have shown there is a growing trend towards personalised booking services. This imaginative approach has more than doubled golf rounds locally and between January and April 2000 has booked more than 1800 bed nights. Finalist - Roadside Cottage Bed & Breakfast Roadside Cottage Bed & Breakfast, at Tomnavulin, Ballindalloch, identified the opportunity to increase business during the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2000. A researched and highly targeted direct mail campaign successfully generated an 8 fold increase in turnover from the previous year during the festival. An excellent example of common sense, cost effective direct marketing, with minimal outlay.
