Tourism eLearning Website
There is now a free to access 'Tourism eLearning' website. It offers 15 skills sections which focus on key areas including achieving a work-life balance; time management; delegation skills and leadership skills.

Tourist Board Training
Tourist Board Training (TBT), a subsidiary of VisitScotland, develops a range of awareness sessions and workshops for the tourism industry and tourist information centres to support niche marketing initiatives and VisitScotland’s Quality & Standards Welcome Schemes.

TBT has designed a flexible package of awareness-raising sessions and workshops to support the VisitScotland product portfolio including Ancestral Tourism, Sailing & Watersports Tourism, Anglers Welcome, Children Welcome, Scotland – Yours to Discover  and a suite of environmental tourism workshops including Wildlife Tourism, Loch Lomond and TrossachsNational Park and Cairngorms Connections. Other areas are under development.

These awareness sessions and workshops are delivered through a national network of national and local experts and in partnership with key stakeholders across the education, tourism and training sectors, including LearnDirect Scotland and Scottish Qualifications Authority.

Training for Work
Run by Scottish Enterprise, this project aims to assist individuals who have been unemployed for 6 months or more back into the workplace.
