All Roads Lead to Scotland: the Success of the Route Development Fund

VisitScotland joint marketing initiatives
VisitScotland has been actively involved with the RDF since its inception, working in collaboration with the RDF Strategy Group and HIE RDF project, to help identify and promote key tourism development routes for targeting under the initiative.

In 2003/2004, VisitScotland invested around £3 million in co-operative marketing activity with Direct Access partners.

So as the economic benefits brought from the sky begin to spread, Scotland’s Route Development Fund will be seen as money well spent.
