Benchmarking Scotland

In 2002 a series of benchmarking studies were undertaken to help provide competitive analysis of best practice countries and to summarise key findings for Scottish tourism industry sectors.

Evaluation of Scottish Enterprise & Highlands & Islands Enterprise Masterclasses & Learning Journeys
Consultants Jones Economics were recently asked to evaluate 2 years of the Masterclass and Learning Journey parts of the Scottish Enterprise Tourism Development Programme.

The aim was to establish the effect on individuals and their companies of participation in the programme and to identify changes they had made, if any, to their business practices or developments which could be attributed to their involvement.
